Upon the conclusion of the public consultation phase promoted to collect proposals and suggestions for the modeling of the concession of CPTM lines 8 and 9, the government of the State of São Paulo decided to suspend the present schedule.

Not able to measure the social and the economic impacts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the concession modeling would be impaired, which could distance potential national and international stakeholders.

The current model plans concession for 30 years, with obligation for the concessionaire to promote modernization works and implementation of new projects.

A new schedule will be prepared promptly and made available by the Government, considering that the period of 120 days is guaranteed for national and international companies to be able to prepare adequately to participate in the bid.
