On 05/29/2020, the Government of Alagoas launched Call for Public Bid 09/2020 for the concession of water supply and sanitary sewage in the Metropolitan Region of Maceió.

The Concession, which will be in force for 35 years, foresees total investments at the amount of R$ 2.6 billion. As there is obligation for the future utility company to universalize the water supply in 6 years, investments of R$ 2 billion are estimated in the first 8 years of the concession. The criterion for the selection of the winning proposal will be the highest grant payment, at minimum amount of R$ 15,125,000.00.

The envelopes shall be submitted to B3 (Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão) until 9/25/2020, between 10 am and 2 pm; the public session for the opening of the commercial proposals is scheduled on 9/30/2020 at 10 am. Any requests for clarification shall be sent until 8/12/2020, and any objections, until 9/22/2020.
